lets see where this blog ends up.

I am sitting in a coffee shop in Santa Cruz called the Abbey. I have too much homework to work with and 22 units that will whoelheartedly kick my ass but my mind cant stray away from the idea of making a blog and chronicling my day to day happenings, thoughts and ideas. I am organizing this blog in hopes of manifesting a project I will devote my time, sweat and blood to (well maybe not blood...unless I will attempt to donate blood every week for the next year or become a vampire. I just watched Nosferatu for the second time so vampires have been on the mind). I also seem to have been able to write better when typing. I am getting with the times and writing unfortunately tends to hurt my fingers. Although having a palpable piece of paper and pen in hand is great and a bit more long lasting than say a blog that might be erased if the internet decides to malfunction or god forbid some technological attack on the blog world arises and all blogs are erased forever. What will happen to the face of blogkind?

Anyways, I need to figure out a project I can work on for the next year. For now I will leave with a quote that I heard from the great 1922 movie Nosferatu.

"Wait, young man. You can't escape your destiny by running away..."
This might be germane to your life and it definitely pertains to mine. Sometimes situations happen for a reason, people leave your life and enter without so much as a warning or second thought. However, I am beginning to lean towards believing in the existence of some sort of destiny that follows unbeknownst people. These things happen for a reason. Or maybe we believe they do as to cope with the pangs of a reality we are not willing to accept. Believing in a destiny seems easier and even engenders a more emotionally stable life style. It also adds a bit more mysticism to the world.
